Panoramic x-rays provide a broad view of the jaws, teeth, sinuses, nasal area, and temporomandibular (TMJ) joints. These x-rays reveal problems such as impacted teeth, bone abnormalities, cysts, certain tumors, infections, and fractures - all with significantly less radiation that conventional methods.
Panoramic x-rays are used to screen for and help identify problems with the teeth, mouth, jaw, and surrounding area - often identifying cavities, bone loss, and other dental/medical conditions not seen during a visual examination.
