Julie Hassid, D.M.D.
Dr. Hassid was first inspired to become a dentist when she was 15 after her experience with her childhood dentist and soon began working in the dental field, first as an assistant and then a hygienist. Born in Texas and growing up in Australia, New Jersey and Belgium, she settled in Boston, earning a B.S in Human Physiology from Boston University. She then went on to earn a Doctorate of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine where Dr. Hassid was awarded the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology Horace Wells Senior Student Award. Upon graduation of Tufts University, Dr. Hassid entered Columbia University School College of Dental Medicine for a two year residency in Advanced Education of General Dentistry (AEGD). Here, her training focused on comprehensive and cosmetic dentistry. She also completed advanced studies at NYU's school of dentistry specializing in veneers and esthetic dentistry. Dr. Hassid is a member of the American Dental Association, New York State Dental Association and a variety of study clubs. She enjoys traveling, running, and tennis in her free time- Home
